He throws caution to the wind and opens up about his past, his family, and even his mother. Reed is relentless in his attempts to win Ella back. The tension in the household doesn’t ease up, especially with Brooke and Dinah back in the mix. She grudgingly agrees and becomes a “prisoner” again. It isn’t too long before Ella is found, and threatened by Callum to return. Astor Park Prep Academy falls to pieces without a Royal to hold it all together. They spiral and so does everyone around them. The Royal family falls apart without Ella. But who can really know whose baby it is? We also discover that *gasp* Brooke is pregnant. We learn that he has slept with Brooke in the past, but was actually kicking her out at the time of Ella’s departure. The beginning of book 2 starts off in the same spot, but this time from Reeds point of view. She was ruined by the Royals, just like she was warned would happen. Paper Princess ended off will Ella catching Reed in bed with Brooke. (This sounds alarmingly like my review for Paper Princess, I see a pattern here.)
